Every board is split into today, this week, this month and all time. The same game shows different names as you switch between them. Someone who arrived this morning can still reach the top of the daily board, so the ranking never belongs only to the people who have played longest.
Scoring works differently in each game, so the boards are never merged into a single list. Pick a game in the selector above and you get that game's ranking on its own. It keeps scores built on different rules from being compared as if they were the same number.
Alongside the global board there is a family board that ranks only the profiles inside your own account. Nobody outside the household appears on it, which makes it a comfortable place for a younger player to compete without being measured against strangers.
Quiz boards come in two kinds, most correct answers and most attempts, and both add up across every game rather than one. Answering well and showing up often are different achievements, so they are counted separately.
Gold, silver and bronze medals mark the first three places; every other rank shows as a plain number. The bar under each score is drawn relative to the top score on that board, so you can see at a glance how far ahead the leader is rather than doing the arithmetic yourself.
These boards rank the games you choose to play. The daily challenge keeps a separate board for the single run everyone shares that day, so a good day there does not depend on how much time you have spent in any one game.
